Happy Early Halloween... this piece was done on one an awesome client. He is a sculptor for Disney and used to have his own haunted houses! Really fun piece! I was definitely trying to go for that comic book style on this one. I really like the result. This is a healed picture.

Here is an art nouveau style piece I came up with. This was her first piece and she did great! This was a really fun piece for me from start to finish. Definitely in my style realm and I really love doing stuff like this.
This lady is a champ for real! First tattoo, rib cage, sat like a rock! It was a pleasure to do this piece and she was wanting it to be more along the realistic side of things, but still have qualities of a painting. She wanted the birds to be in black and grey too and I actually really like the way it all came out. 3 little birds and magnolia blossoms... because every little thing, is gonna be alright.
I did this piece during a recent guest spot at Tatlantis in Las Vegas. This piece was started and finished in about 8 hours total. I kept it relatively simple and tried to focus on making it achieve a good impact as an entire piece viewable from a distance. The top bird is covering up a little butterfly, and the rest is for show... I was very pleased with this piece and it was a challenge for both artist and client! We did it! Caroline is a champ!
Can't say I don't have lyrics on myself... Love doing this kind of script on people. I'm a big fan of Ralph Steadman and adapted his style of writing into my own script. I actually use pen and inkwell to come up with these pieces. It definitely gives it a more authentic and chaotic look. I'm a big Thrice fan too, and when this client came to me with this lyric, I was more than happy to put it on him!
This was a piece I did for a great client of mine. It was a walk in and he wanted a bird, with rays, and for it to say "falling into place", modest mouse lyrics. I took it a different direction, but I dig it, and so does he cause he's given me his ribcage. Ill show that piece once we get through it. This is a healed pic.
This is a piece that im damn near finished with on one of my best friends Dave "Rowdie" DeGuire. I started this as a freehand piece in Vegas and finished everything but a background recently here in LA. Fun piece, just a little more to go before I can call this one finished.
Thank you for looking.
This is a piece I did a while back, but its been a while since I posted, so this is catching up. A nice buddha head on a good friend out here in LA. Fun piece!
Thank you for looking.
Forearm rocker of Lo Pan and the 3 storms from Big Trouble in Little China on my good friend Ben... Its the start of an 80's action movie sleeve that will include some stuff from Predator, Conan, Rocky and Cobra... I love my friends!!!
This is my kind of script. Heh! Thanks for the inspiration Ralph! On one of my favorite clints! The same girl who owns that tree piece and a rose and banner piece. I have a good amount of work invested in this girl! Amy, you rock! Thanks for the love!
Really love the way this one turned out! This was his first tattoo. It was an original design I did based on his old military troop in Vietnam. They were bad asses! They did parachute missions and night right on the Imjin River that seperates North and South Korea. Brutal! I also did a really cute owl piece on his wife that I will share with y'all as soon as I can.
Here is my first completed piece at my new shop Unbreakable in Studio City. This was such a fun piece and my client is super cool dude and a helluva dancer apparently! Good times!
This is a reproduction of the album cover from the band Brand New called Deja Entendu. We combined it with the influence of one of my favorite artists Rene Magritte... a little bit of an odd one, but really fun none the less! It turned out super cool and only took around 4 hours...
I love the way this one turned out! It is a brutal coverup... the top pic is what his chest looked like in the beginning... This dude sat like a champ too! Fucking fell asleep snoring every session. If you've ever had a tattoo on your chest, you'd know how tough that is! Good times!
I really love the direction this is going... although, I'll probably never get to finish it... Ah, looks good here. This is originally a painting of a still life. Not sure who the orginal artist is. I like the idea of still life as a tattoo! This project inspired me to someday actually do a still life on some one. I think the best way to approach it would be the same as a painting. Actually set up a still life scene and draw it on and tattoo it... It would have to be something I could set up and not disturb for a really long time, but I'm confident it would turn out really cool. If anyone is interested in becoming a canvas for my still life tattoo, let me know!
Did this one on the bosses wife... started it as an apprentice and finished it up right before the move... fun stuff. I really love the design... glad I thought of it! Ha! JK... it was Fred Giovannitti's design.
This was an awesome piece that I only wish I designed. It was actually designed by the client who is a dear friend of mine from St. Louis, Josh Fajkowski. This dude is a rad artist that I try to talk into getting into tattooing almost every time we hang out... I'm sure its annoying... Either way... The Alfred E Neuman skull.
THis piece was so much fun and a very gratifying 12 hour session. Yep... Two 6 hour sittings yesterday and today, for his first tattoo! Fucking trooper!!! This young lad rolled out all the way from Memphis to have me tear his arm up... Thank you internet for leading him to me. His main reasoning for getting this piece (outside of the fact that it looks friggin thweet!) was to cover up/disguise a rare skin condition that much resembles that of a large birthmark. I don't think anyone is going to be paying attention to that anymore. Now go forth and lead the Horde to battle young warrior!!!
A brutal cover up... This client is a rad lady, and this piece was a lot of fun to be a part of. It meant a lot to her as well as helped cover the "blob", as she called it. Good times.

I have come to love tattooing roses, especially when someone asks me to make them as realistic as possible. This still needs a background and I have 2 other roses waiting for it, but I wanted to share the progress...
